What is fire ball ride?

The Fire Ball ride is a popular carnival attraction that belongs to the category of thrill rides. The ride consists of a circular frame with a rotating arm. Attached to the arm are several pendulum seats that can hold up to four passengers each.

During the ride, the arm swings back and forth, and at the same time, it rotates around the circular frame. The pendulum seats also swing back and forth, gradually gaining speed and height until they’re almost perpendicular to the ground. The combined fast-paced movements create a thrilling sensation of weightlessness, which is why this ride is popular among people seeking an adrenaline rush.

The Fire Ball ride debuted in 2002 and was manufactured by KMG, a Dutch amusement manufacturer. However, the ride gained notoriety in 2017 after a tragic accident occurred at the Ohio State Fair, where one person died and several others were injured when the ride malfunctioned. Since then, the safety protocols and standards of the ride have been revised and improved to prevent future accidents.
